A Fresh Look for The Fresh Market

As a food blogger, I find myself in the grocery store almost daily for last-minute recipe development ingredients and photo shoot props. Therefore, a curated shopping experience is very valuable to me and my productivity. I've been impressed with The Fresh Market from the get-go; but since their redefined store layout and rebrand reveal this week, I feel as if the store read my mind on improvements and additives to my almost-daily trip!

The specialty grocer, which offers the freshest selection in my neighborhood, has unveiled nuances to its shopping experience that are extremely thoughtful and realistic for the everyday customer. I took a tour Wednesday and found myself noticing the details with delight. A few new features of which I'm most fond include:

-Updated signage and vibrant imagery of the various store departments
-A tasting and interactive demonstration station with featured ingredients and meal preparation
-Larger meal prep selection, entitled "Meals in Minutes"
-Wider aisle lanes to navigate those carts!
-Visible "gluten free" and "non-GMO" tags on spices, dry and packaged goods
-Larger household and personal care product selections (hello, toilet paper!)
-Increased variety of "gravity" offerings (i.e. those fantastic bulk nuts and snacks)
-The cutest banana stand you ever did see.

This Saturday in Memphis, The Fresh Market will offer super sweet samples and giveaways to shoppers. Be sure to come hungry...

-FREE 16-ounce bag of The Fresh Market’s Organic Blue Tortilla Chips and a 16-ounce jar of its signature “Nom Nom” medium salsa for the first 50 guests at each store
-FREE reusable shopping bags for the first 250 guests at each store
-Celebratory mini cupcake sampling from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
-Grilling demonstrations featuring The Fresh Market’s gourmet beef burgers and Italian sausages
-Cooking demonstrations* featuring The Fresh Market’s signature Little Big Meal
-Food sampling throughout the stores, including favorites from the bakery department
-Live jazz musicians from 1-5 p.m.

Go check out the new features for yourself and get prepped for Memorial Day next weekend at The Fresh Market!
