Cueing my drink of choice for the foreseeable future — this sparkling grapefruit number is refreshing and the most beautiful color! Just before stirring with a citrus peel, its ingredients form an effortless ombre effect. I’m so happy I still have all ingredients on hand from its first iteration at Splinter Creek, who hosted us for a magical spring weekend on the water. We’ll be making this weekly to relive our time down South!
Serves 1
2 ounces gin
3 ounces fresh grapefruit juice
3 ounces lime sparkling water
Juice of half a lime
Orange or grapefruit peel, to garnish
Fill a tumbler with ice. Pour gin, grapefruit juice, and sparkling water in order. Squeeze lime and give a light stir. Garnish with citrus peel.
