Let’s face it—it’s hard to get, let alone make healthy meals on a daily basis. We all want to do what’s right for our bodies, but, when we’re constantly on-the-go, we sometimes must settle for faster food options. After a ten-hour day at work, I find myself opting for too much sodium-filled Vietnamese takeout because of its convenience and price, even though I know I should be steering clear of the sauces and rice-based carbs on such a regular basis!
How do we establish a well-balanced diet in our busy lives?
Cue Soli. The newest grab-and-go, pre-made meal company based in Memphis, Soli offers amples of nutritious (and delicious) options, whether you’re gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, or are simply watching your calories. Oh, and did I mention its convenience? You can either pick up your meals at one of their three locations, or they can ship your meals right to your door. It’s that simple! Now, you can skip over the temptation to go to your nearest Chick-Fil-A and instead go for Soli’s delectable meals for any meal of the day — even afternoon snack.
Soli's kitchen creativity includes menu items such as Sriracha chicken chili and even a mac & cheese called “Mac Attack.” I recently tried their addictive brownie bites, which blew my mind upon learning their ingredients include avocado and black bean. Now, I know what you’re thinking; how could that taste good? But trust me, it’s rich and just sweet enough to substitute any late-night sugar craving. Not only is a serving of three just 160 calories, but you also gain 9 grams of protein.
This dessert is sold at Soli for only $3, but you're welcome to try their exclusive recipe below!
