I’m all for a cheesy centerpiece, but COVID-friendly portions allow us to dig in without a worry.

Enter: the pull-apart/monkey bread of your dreams.

Stuff ciabatta rolls with brie slices (rind up!), prosciutto if you’re feeling fancy, and then brush a pesto buttery combo before baking until melty and golden. A perfect craft with the kids that’s limitless from a quantity standpoint — make one, two, four, or more!

Serves 4-8

4 ciabatta rolls
1 round brie, sliced into thin pieces in 1.5-inch squares (with rinds)
4 slices prosciutto, torn
1 tablespoon store-bought pesto
2 tablespoons butter

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Score ciabatta rolls into 1-inch cubes, careful not to cut through the bottom of the rolls. Carefully tuck brie in between bread slices, rind side up, followed by pieces of prosciutto.

2. Melt butter in a small dish, and stir in pesto. Brush pesto butter atop each roll. Bake until melty and golden, 15-20 minutes. Serve warm.
