The richness of risotto is absolutely perfect for this time of year. I especially love how much the winter white theme of the Caramelized Supper Club comes through; the subtle sweetness of crab and hominy balance the sharp parmesan and bite of al dente arborio rice. Cozy up to a bowl with crisp white wine or champagne. You'll never forget this one!
Roasted Garlic Artichokes
Mimi's Cinnamon Raisin Challah Bread
Challah bread is the coveted tradition of my Jewish upbringing; it's the sweet and unifying symbol of our Shabbas meal together every Friday evening, whether spent with family or friends or during Jewish Summer Camp meals where I met my husband. It's also the greatest french toast foundation out there.
Smashed Red Potatoes
If you've never had smashed potatoes, you'll quickly see what you've been missing! A crisp exterior with an interior that melts in your mouth, this recipe adds irresistible flavors of garlic and parmesan. Plus, the presentation is gorgeous (and the red potato matches the Supper Club spread quite nicely!).
Zucchini "Pasta" Salad
Grilled Shrimp over Fava Beans
In line with our peach and lime color palette for the summer Supper Club, this shrimp and fava dish is healthy and hearty. Find favas at your farmers market or nearest Whole Foods - they're darling and add color and a layer of richness to any salad or side. Grilled shrimp add some meat to the menu, though you can keep this dish vegetarian and utilize grilled asparagus or artichoke hearts instead.
