If you've followed Caramelized on Instagram, you've learned that a cheese board is mandatory when I host a gathering, no matter the size (even if it's just me + Alex!).
DIY Lavender Sachets
A spin on a traditional sachet, these kraft bags filled with dried lavender buds reflect the hues and scents of your first Caramelized Supper Club experience. Devise a custom message for the motive behind your affair -- maybe it's "Happy Valentine's Day!" or "Here's to the next Supper." -- and hand out a bag to each guest at the end of the meal. A take-home treasure will speak volumes of your attention to detail.
INGREDIENTS (ALl PROVIDED IN YOUR SUPPER CLUB BOX)
Dried lavender
4 kraft bags
4 mini clothespins
Fine black pen
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Fill each bag with a large spoonful of dried lavendar.
2. Fold over the top of the bag, approx. 1/2 inch.
3. Fasten the top of the pouch with a mini clothespin.
4. Write a personalized farewell message on the front.
5. Pass out at the finale of your Caramelized Supper Club gathering.
Pesto Pappardelle
Grab your handy KitchenAid attachment to roll your pasta dough, or purchase fresh pasta sheets from the dairy section of the grocery store. We won't judge. Pappardelle is hearty cut of pasta, allowing 1-inch-wide noodles to catch the pesto precisely.
