Each Sunday night we're in town, between six and eight of us gather at a neighborhood Vietnamese restaurant to slurp bowls of pho and share wildly entertaining stories from our past week. I opted to change the location and cuisine last Sunday to our house for a Friendsgiving affair. An elevated yet traditional Thanksgiving menu, a rustic tablescape, and red wine replaced our usual bowls of noodles. Nonetheless, the company was excellent, and the potluck was top-notch.
