One of the easiest outfits to transition us into fall fashion is unquestionably the dress-and-boot combination.

While we’ve been living in strappy sandals and sneakers all summer long, soon the leaves will be falling, the nights will lengthen, and we’ll feel that crisp, cool air on our cheeks, finally signaling it’s time to get our toes into something more toasty.

We’re not even close to that feeling in Memphis, but luckily, my friends at Oak Hall have introduced a slew of chic fall boots and dresses that are getting me excited to shop for the new season ahead.

From floral frocks and over-the-knee boots to lace-up suede booties for any occasion, scroll below for these two simple striking dress-and-boot outfits to try this fall.

This wine-colored wrap dress by Heartloom is an excellent price point and perfect for September and October weather due to its bell sleeves. I totally want to throw a chunky cableknit cardigan over it during cooler months. We paired the dress with a Vince desert bootie, which showcases a rich suede fabric. I’m determined to find a pair of frilly socks to wear with them next time!

Our second Oak Hall look is a seventies-vibin’ Shoshanna dress with over-the-knee Donald Pliner camel boots. The patterns of both the dress and the boot are playful and memorable yet professional. Both are exclusively available in-store at Oak Hall.

Go get your early fall ensemble ready before these temps actually change!
