The Secret to Pull-Apart, Extra Cheesy Garlic Bread

What’s not to love about gooey cheese and a crusty loaf of bread?

As I shared recently on Instagram, my pregnancy has welcomed plenty of cheese and carbs to my daily diet. As if they weren’t my love language already, they are all I look forward to now!

I have been testing a pull-apart bread that offers a rich, crowd-pleasing layer of melty cheese. Fortunately, I discovered a new flavor of the fantastic French brand Fromager d’AffinoisGarlic & Herbs!

Garlic, chives, parsley and chervil enrobe the exterior of this soft ripened, pasteurized (yay!) cheese. These ingredients are artfully speckled throughout the cream, making for a beautiful presentation and an irresistible flavor combination. In fact, the cheese is so flavor-packed that this recipe requires little-to-none additional ingredients to achieve a perfect garlicky bite.

This loaf would make for a perfect holiday appetizer or a weeknight family dinner accompaniment. Scroll for the simple yet striking recipe with Fromager d’Affinois Garlic & Herbs!

Serves 8-12

Rustic Italian loaf of bread
1 8-ounce triangle of Fromager d’Affinois Garlic & Herbs
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 sprig fresh rosemary

Preheat oven to 350F. Slice bread horizontally and vertically to create 1-inch cubes, being careful not to actually slice all the way through the bread.

Place the loaf on a baking sheet and, using a butter knife, spread the cheese inside the bread, filling in all the spaces between the cuts. Use a pastry brush to coat the top of the loaf with olive oil. Cut fresh rosemary over the top of the loaf.

Transfer to the oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown and crusty. Serve immediately.
